Horse & Rider Sessions

There aren't many things that are as beautiful as a horse against a natural background! Outdoor sessions are photographed at either sunrise or sunset, when the sun is low and soft in the sky. Sessions are typically photographed in an outdoor arena, paddock or pasture. Trailer-in locations such as state parks or open spaces are always an option!

These sessions focus on the bond shared between the rider and their equine partner(s). Each session is different, as I tailor them to each specific client with a mix of lifestyle and posed images in order to tell their story. These customized photo shoots will provide you with memories that will last a lifetime.

You and your horse work extremely hard to build your bond and skills under saddle. What better a way to celebrate your accomplishments than by capturing where you are in your journey with gorgeous portraiture? Allow me to capture you two moving in harmony or showing off skills, or just having fun running around an open field.

Only equestrians know how special a friendship with a horse can be. We create a friendship most others can not understand. Allow me to photograph the bond you share with your equine other half(s) in an outdoor location of your choosing! I'll capture loving moments and polaroid moments of interaction. This is also great for farm and family sessions!

Life can change on a dime - especially when it comes to horses. Allow me to create stunning portraits of your horse in in a style that highlights freedom! We'll either turn your horse loose in a paddock or pasture. There are times freedom isn't an option. I can have you lunge your horse while I capture photos and later remove the halter and lunge line in Photoshop.
